In order for you to participate in Campaigns, make donations through the Service, or register with the Sites as a Campaign Organizer, we require you to provide us with applicable information that personally identifies you (“Personal Information”). We only collect personal information directly from you when you provide it to us. Personal Information includes, but is not limited to the following types of data, which will depend on your user type on our Sites:

Campaign Organizers: Personal contact information (name, e-mail address, phone, password, etc.), Organization information (name, address, logo, EIN & Legal Entity Name (if applicable)), Campaign information (goal, campaign dates, what you’re raising money for, suggested Acts of Kindness, teacher/group names (optional), etc.)

Participants: Name, email address, password, photo (optional), birth month & year, organization you are raising money for (i.e. school, team or group), classroom/group name (if applicable), Acts of Kindness selected, Acts of Kindness completed, potential donor names & email addresses (optional), etc.

Donors: Name, email address, donation amount, postal code, etc.

We do not collect any personally identifiable financial information such as your credit card number, bank account number or similar information. The collection of the foregoing in relation to your donation is made by a third party payment processor through its portal and is subject to such payment processor’s terms of use and privacy policies.

HOW DOES RAISE CRAZE USE MY PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use your Personal Information in order to administer the Sites and allow you to use and participate in the Service, and to otherwise provide the services you are requesting, administer your account, respond to your questions and requests, customize your experience on the Sites and contact you regarding your account. Here are some examples of some of the communications we may send you: receipts (regarding donations); updates about activity on the Sites and Service related to you (including donations received); updates regarding your status (including Campaign milestones).

WHAT TYPES OF NON-PERSONAL INFORMATION DOES RAISE CRAZE COLLECT AND HOW?

We may use automated means to collect various types of non-personal information (data in a form that does not support direct association with any specific person or individual). Much of this information is collected through the use of third-party tracking services. For example, we have implemented Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting, a feature of Google analytics, which is a web analysis service provided by Google. We utilize the data collected to track and examine the use of raisecraze.com, kindness.raisecraze.com, and my.raisecraze.com, to prepare reports for internal use only. We do not share this information with any parties. Google may use the data collected to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network and share the data with other Google services. You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Ad Settings (https://www.google.com/settings/ads) or the Opt-Out Browser Add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/).

The information collected may include usage information, such as the numbers and frequency of users to the Sites, pages visited, web browsing histories, online activities and searches, social networking activities and similar data. This type of information may be shared with third parties at any time. In addition to the third-party tracking services mentioned above, we also collect this information through various other means, including "cookies” and IP addresses, as further explained below.

Meta Tags

Our Sites use meta tags to provide metadata about our web pages to browsers, search engines and other third parties, including Meta. Meta tags help improve the user experience by enabling better indexing and display of our content in search results. These tags may include information such as page descriptions, keywords, and instructions for search engine crawlers.

We do not use meta tags to collect personal information directly. However, some meta tags may reveal technical details about our website, such as software versions or content management systems, which do not contain personal data but help us optimize site performance and security.

We ensure that meta tags on our site do not contain sensitive or personally identifiable information. Any metadata collected or generated through our website interactions is handled in accordance with our overall privacy practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Cookies

A cookie is a piece of information that a web server may place on your computer when you visit a website. We use “cookies” to collect information about you and your activity across our Sites. Examples of our use of cookies include keeping you logged in to your account, tracking views of specific pages, and improving security of our Sites.

Web Beacons

Certain pages on the Sites may contain “web beacons” (also known as Internet tags, pixel tags and clear GIFs). These web beacons allow third parties to obtain information such as the IP address of the computer that downloaded the page on which the beacon appears, the URL of the page on which the beacon appears, the time the page containing the beacon was viewed, the type of browser used to view the page, and the information in cookies set by the third party. Web beacons also may be used to track whether you have opened an HTML email. When the email is opened, a part of the code that makes up the HTML page calls a web server to load the web beacon that then generates a record showing that the email has been viewed. Web beacons may also recognize when the email was opened, how many times it was forwarded and which URLs (links within the email) were clicked.

IP Addresses

When you visit and interact with the Sites, Raise Craze and third parties with whom we have contracted to provide services for us, may collect Internet Protocol addresses (each an “IP Address”), as well as browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and page navigation. An IP Address is a unique identifier number that certain electronic devices use to identify and to communicate with each other on the Internet; your Internet Service Provider automatically assigns an IP Address to the computer that you are using. We gather this information to track web site visitor movement in the aggregate, and to gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. Our goal in gathering this information is to learn how our customers and the public are using our Sites. We may use this information to enhance our Sites or for other lawful purposes.

Do Not Track Notice

Some web browsers incorporate a “Do Not Track” feature that signals to websites that you visit that you do not want to have your online activity tracked. How browsers communicate and respond to the Do Not Track signal is not yet uniform. For this reason, like many websites, the Sites do not currently respond to or alter their practices when they receive a Do Not Track signal. Please note that third parties may collect personal information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you visit our Sites or other online websites and services. To find out more about “Do Not Track,” you may wish to visit https://www.allaboutdnt.com.

Please keep in mind that while we take reasonable precautions to safeguard your Personal Information, no amount of protection can guarantee its security. Information we collect using forms on the Service will be transmitted within a session secured using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption.

We do not have access to your credit card number. Raise Craze contracts with Stripe (https://stripe.com) to process all donations made through the Sites and Service. Only this third party processor, or the third party processor which Raise Craze may later use in place of or in addition to Stripe, has access to your credit card number. Data handled by third party processors are subject to their own terms of use and privacy policies.
